Ferrara in Florence
Ferrara has been one of main capital cities during the Renaissance time, when the Court of Este’s family made it one of the greenest cities in Europe, leaving permanent vestiges of their life-style such as inestimable gardens.
Ferrara is a city located in the North-East of Italy, in the region called
Emilia-Romagna.
Because of the beauty and cultural importance of its Historical Center, in 1995,
UNESCO classified Ferrara in the “World Heritage Mankind” list,
defining it as "...a fine example of a town planned in the Renaissance
that has managed to retain the integrity of its historic centre".
